Gigaclear, a rural-based full fibre broadband provider, has seen impressive growth recently. The ISP has doubled their customer base in the last two years. Its FTTP network now reaches 380,000 premises across England.
The company recently celebrated a major milestone, as it now serves 75,000 customers. Gigaclear, an Abingdon-based company, aims to provide full fibre FTTP broadband to 500,000 UK premises by the end of 2024. With a £700 million investment from Infracapital, the provider will expand its services to 23 counties in the UK.
Nick Rawlings, Gigaclear’s Chief Marketing Officer, explains that the company focuses on rural areas. These areas are often ignored by other providers. Gigaclear is growing fast, driven by the demand for faster and more reliable internet connections. Gigaclear is excited to reach their next target of 100,000 customers soon.
Gigaclear offers a variety of broadband packages with symmetrical speeds of 200Mbps, 300Mbps, 400Mbps and 820Mbps. Customers can enjoy free setup and prices starting from just £17 a month. While the introductory offers are quite competitive, it’s important for new customers to be aware that Gigaclear’s post-contract prices are usually higher than other full fibre providers.
