Zen Internet was chosen the best internet service provider in a recent survey conducted by Which? magazine.
The half-yearly consumer poll placed Plusnet on third place, while other major ISPs Virgin Media, Sky, BT and TalkTalk were ranked quite behind small ISPs like Utility Warehouse, SSE and John Lewis in terms of their all-round performance that would satisfy their consumers.
The magazine conducts the broadband customer satisfaction survey and publishes the results every six months. The latest survey for H1 2018 had nearly 2k participants who rated their providers based on how they performed when it comes to speed, customer service and value for money.
The study revealed that 9 in 10 Zen Internet customers would recommend their ISP which came top on the table. Plusnet was ranked third while Vodafone home broadband was ranked 5th.
Cable operator Virgin Media and EE came with 56% of customer satisfaction level.
BT and TalkTalk were the worst performers while Sky could manage to be ranked marginally higher. Less than half of their customers would recommend these operators, the research finds.
